What I Ate Wednesday – July

How is it July already?! In fact I suspect it isn’t – the weather has had more in common with October, which has left us totally confused, craving roast dinners, soups & comforting eats – as well as wondering what to do with a just-walking toddler on rainy days. Perhaps we need to invest in some wellies.

Following my recent food photography and styling workshop I’ve been paying a lot more attention to my Instagram feed and am now taking an online course with Emily Quinton of Makelight. I’m rediscovering a lot of the joy I find in food, I hope it shows :)

Baby A seems to be ok with soya - hooray! It's opening up more options for us, like this (soya) cream of tomato soup - it's hiding all kinds of vegetables inside

And finally, yet another frittata! This one Spanish inspired with peppers, sweet onions, brown rice & paprika. Breakfast on the train this morning - yum!
